General Pediatrics
One of the largest departments
The Department of General Pediatrics is one of the largest departments in the Hospital.
We are here to manage the health of your child, including physical, behavioural, and mental
health -experience in diagnosing and treating childhood illnesses, from minor health
problems to serious diseases.
General Pediatrics’ responsibilities include treating infants, children, adolescents, and young
adults with illnesses, medical conditions, and injuries and easing the lives of children
suffering from chronic diseases.
At BalGopal Hospitals, wellness is at the heart of what we do. The Department of General
Pediatrics at BalGopal Children Hospital dedicates to providing exceptional clinical care,
preparing the next generation of Pediatricians, advancing our knowledge of ways to improve
children’s health, and improving our community’s health.
Doctors of this department provide inpatient and outpatient clinical care at the Hospital.
Faculty in the Department of General Pediatrics also teaches postgraduate students and
fellows.
All children of all ages receive preventative, well-child, and acute care from our
Pediatricians. Care is provided for all children and families, regardless of their ability to pay.
Special Features
- Single- or double-occupancy rooms that comply with guidelines for preventing nosocomial infections are large enough to accommodate parents who may choose to stay with their children.
- The location of beds allows experienced nurses to supervise patients and observe their progress.
- Each bed has oxygen and electrical outlets, with access to the hospital emergency power system.
